About Monica and Coy

Creations Of Monica was first established in 2007 because of issues Monica was having with her skin.  Suffering from Eczema since childhood, the lotions and soaps she was using were very irritating to her skin.  Later in life after an unpleasant itching session, Monica decided to research how to make her own lotion and soap.  After many attempts, Monica came out with a product she was very proud of.  Initially her products were given to relatives and later donated to rest home residents.  After encouragement from others, Monica decided to offer her formulations for public sale.   Monica’s father, Joe Brown Jr, was her biggest cheerleader and assisted her in the business. 

Shortly after the business began to take off, her father began dialysis treatments due to Diabetes.  Often dialysis patients suffer from itching skin.  Monica, again through trial and error, developed lotion and soap to relieve his discomfort. Unfortunately, her father’s condition worsened requiring Monica to shutter the business to care for him.  Tragically, Joe Brown Jr, passed away in 2013.  Over the years Monica longed to reopen her business, but the time never seem right.

In 2018 Monica met her future husband, Coy.  After three years of wedded bliss the two decided the time was right to restart Creations of Monica. 

Monica and Coy enjoy attending church together, fine dining and history, especially the Victorian Age.
